About

Meet Dr. Mora

Psychiatrist, Owner and Chief Medical Officer of Synthesis Psychiatry

“What really fuels my passion for Psychiatry is the privilege and satisfaction of getting to lead people down the path of recovery and witnessing their growth and improvement as they regain control of their lives from situations which felt hopeless to them. Nothing brings me more happiness than hearing a patient tell me, ‘You were right Dr. Mora, I feel so much better now!’

I have several years of clinical experience working with a wide variety of patients including patients dealing with trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, and psychosis. Having worked with many different populations of patients, including post-partum women, trauma survivors, Veterans, young professionals and more established older adults, I am quite comfortable with managing and assisting with a diverse array of psychiatric and emotional issues, as well as life transitions and other problems of living.

I prefer to take an individualized and integrative approach which synthesizes various modalities, including medication management, cognitive-behavioral approaches, and existential/humanistic therapy.

I pride myself in my ability to empathically and nonjudgmentally work with a diverse range of patients from all walks of life. My only request is that you come to sessions motivated and ready to get better and to collaboratively decide on plans and goals that work for you.”
